ENROLMENT PROCEDURE FOR FOREIGN STUDENTS

PURPOSE: The procedure concerns the activities involved when interested degree-earning foreign students apply for admission at the St. Paul University Philippines.

SCOPE: This starts with the signifying of intention of foreign students and ends with the issuance of Alien Certificate of Registration (ACR). This excludes foreigners applying for the Doctor of Medicine Program and transferees.

Enrollment Procedure for Foreign Students applying in the Doctor of Medicine and Transferees

PURPOSE: The procedure concerns the activities involved when interested foreign students apply for admission in the Doctor of Medicine Program and transferees at the St. Paul University Philippines.

SCOPE: This starts with the signifying of intention of foreign students and ends with the issuance of Alien Certificate of Registration (ACR).

ADMISSION PROCEDURES FOR FOREIGN STUDENTS INTO THE DOCTOR OF MEDICINE PROGRAM

PURPOSE: The procedure concerns the activities involved when interested foreign students apply for admission in the Doctor of Medicine Program at the St. Paul University Philippines.

SCOPE: This starts with the evaluation of requirements and ends with the official enrolment of foreign students.

  • College TOR with Overall BS Mark of at least 83%

  • Certificate of Good Moral Character or Copy of NBI Clearance
IRO DirectorSends qualified foreign students to Dean of the School of Medicine *Not qualified students are immediately advisedTransmittal Note (sent by email, prompted by phone call, to ensure that form is authentic and not copied
Dean or College SecretaryRe-checks / Verifies Student’s Records
Interviews Student *This is to check student applicants’ oral proficiency in English, logical reasoning and basic knowledge on medicine and medical practice
  • NMAT Score of at least 40 percentile
  • College TOR with Overall BS Mark of at least 83%
  • Diploma
  • Honorable Dismissal
  • Certificate of Good Moral Character or Copy of NBI Clearance
Dean or College SecretaryAdvises Qualified Students to take the Placement Test at the College Guidance Center *Not qualified students are immediately advised 
Student Applicant
  • Gets Form at the College Guidance Center and fills out the same
  • Pays placement exam fee at the BAO
  • Takes exam at the College Guidance Center
