DEWEY INT’L TAIWAN INITIATES POTENTIAL PARTNERSHIP WITH SPUP

March 26, 2024 – Officials of Dewey International in Taiwan met with SPUP administrators to explore possible academic collaboration and partnership. The discussion focused on English as Second Language (ESL) and cultural immersion programs for College and High School students. The meeting was facilitated by Dr. Hazel Habito-Javier, (Tourism Attaché of the Philippines, Taipei), through the Department of Tourism – Region 2.
Mr. Tim Lia (President, Dewey International) and Ms. Sonya Zhang (Manager, Dewey International) presented their institution’s profile and programs to the University administration, represented by Dr. Agripina Maribbay (Vice President for Academics), Dr. Jeremy Godofredo Morales (Director, Internationalization), Dr. Allan Peejay Lappay (Director, Alumni, External Relations, and Advocacies) and Mrs. Marie Krizya Calagui (Program Coordinator, Tourism Program). The visitors were accompanied by Dr. Troy Alexander Miano (Regional Director, Department of Tourism) and Mr. Romeo Caranguian, Jr. (Senior Tourism Operations Officer, DOT-RO2). After the initial meeting, the visitors were given a tour to the different facilities on campus.
