SPUP AND TOKUSHIMA UNIVERSITY EXTEND, FORGE ACADEMIC COOPERATION

St. Paul University Philippines (SPUP) and Tokushima University (TU) in Japan renewed and forged an academic cooperation on March 01, 2022. Held via Zoom, the ceremonies were led by Sr. Merceditas Ang, SPC (University President, SPUP) and Dr. Minoru Irahara (Dean, Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences & Chief Executive Officer, TU Medical Campus). The virtual convergence was moderated by Dr. Jeremy Godofredo Morales (Director, Internationalization – SPUP) and Dr. Tetsuya Tanioka (Chairperson, Committee of International Exchange – TU).
Witnessing the event were delegates from each University. From Tokushima University were Dr. Masashi Akaike (Dean, Faculty of Medicine), Dr. Toshiyuki Yasui (Dean, Graduate School of Health Sciences)Dr. Kikuko Okuda (Head, Department of Nursing), Dr. Kazuya Kondo (Chairperson, Committee of Education and Research) and, Dr. Rozzano C. Locsin (Professor Emeritus). Present from SPUP were Dr. Agripina B. Maribbay (Vice President for Academics), Dr. Inicia C. Bansig (Dean, Graduate School), Dr. Anunciacion T. Talosig (Dean, School of Nursing and Allied Health Sciences), Dr. Ma. Elizabeth C, Baua (Program Coordinator, PhDNS, MAN, MSN), Ms. Alida Marallag (Program Coordinator, BS in Nursing), Mr. Allan Paulo Blaquera (Faculty, BS in Nursing), and Dr. Allan Peejay Lappay (Director, Alumni, External Relations and Advocacies).
