Each week, the participants of the program completed readings and watched videos under various sustainability themes based on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals; namely, Global health, urbanization, and social justice. The discussions used the Deliberative Dialogues format, a national model for difficult dialogues, and are structured conversations facilitated by group leaders to assist students in learning to engage with their peers from around the world. Successful participants at the end of the program were given certificates after a thorough assessment of participation by the program coordinators.
