The Paulinian Student Government (PSG) of St. Paul University Philippines (SPUP) has secured an accreditation from the National Youth Commission (NYC) of the Republic of the Philippines, through the Youth Organization Registration Program (YORP). Mr. Rucelj Pugeda (Head, Student Affairs and Adviser, The PSG) received the official communication from the Commission on September 6, 2023.
With its accreditation, SPUP’s The Paulinian Student Government (PSG) becomes one of the FIRST NYC-accredited school-based/student organizations in Region II. For Mr. Vince Jacob Cerezo (President, The Paulinian Student Government), “the recognition demonstrates SPUP’s commitment to empower student-leaders to become competent and responsible citizens in contributing towards social transformation and nation-building.”
The Youth Organization Registration Program (YORP) aims to provide platform and support to community, school and out-of-school, religious, advocacy, and cultural organizations to participate in government’s pursuits, goals, and development and to ensure access to NYC-initiated programs nationwide.
